{"id":27503,"date":"2015-05-27T18:10:55","date_gmt":"2015-05-27T16:10:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.w-t-w.org\/en\/?p=27503"},"modified":"2015-05-27T18:45:24","modified_gmt":"2015-05-27T16:45:24","slug":"27503","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.w-t-w.org\/en\/27503\/","title":{"rendered":"Crime and Exemptions for Big Banks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The ever clever Matt Levine suggests that the more banks you charge with crime, the less damaging the charge is.\u00a0 In Texas, the state employees&#8217; pension fund stopped doing business with Credit Suisse last year because it had &#8220;a policy against hiring firms convicted of felonies,&#8221; but now that basically all the big banks have been convicted of felonies, it has tossed that policy. Welcome back Credit Suisse!
