{"id":32894,"date":"2016-02-11T00:20:58","date_gmt":"2016-02-10T23:20:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.w-t-w.org\/en\/?p=32894"},"modified":"2016-02-11T04:03:53","modified_gmt":"2016-02-11T03:03:53","slug":"32894-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.w-t-w.org\/en\/32894-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Middle Class Erosion Increases Inequality?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>States Where the Middle Class Is\u00a0Dying\u00a0in the US\u00a0There are many possible definitions of the middle class. \u00a0One very logical definition involves dividing incomes into five quintiles. \u00a0Then the income classes can be labelled as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lowest quintile: \u00a0Low Income<\/li>\n<li>Second quintile: \u00a0Low Middle Income<\/li>\n<li>Third quintile: \u00a0Middle Income<\/li>\n<li>Fourth quintile: \u00a0Upper Middle Income<\/li>\n<li>Highest quintile: \u00a0High Income<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Based on income earned before taxes by the third quintile, middle class incomes\u00a0in Rhode Island declined the most in the country.
