Sunday Series: Women and Trading \u2013 Week 1<\/p>\n

We live in a challenged yet beautiful time. Today, it is open to you to achieve financial freedom \u2013 it depends only on you, your willingness, and your determination to succeed. Yet success comes when it becomes effortless. In this series of Sunday discussions, we will help you step by step to trading knowledge, its fundamentals, and practical skills. Yes, it comes at no cost, and the only promise I ask is this: once you are successful, remember to share 10% for a good cause \u2013 your family, neighbor, charity, or whatever makes this world a little better for generations to come.

The Invitation \u2013 Where Money Becomes a Byproduct<\/p>\n

Money is often the last taboo \u2013 we speak about love, health, even death more easily than we speak about our finances. Louise Hay, a woman who transformed her life from an abused teenager to driving her Rolls-Royce while empowering millions, said:<\/p>\n

\u201cMoney is a wonderful thing. It\u2019s not the root of all evil \u2013 it\u2019s the root of all good when used wisely.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 Louise Hay<\/p>\n

This space is for those who feel a quiet call inside \u2013 a curiosity, a knowing that there must be more to life than living paycheck to paycheck, or depending on someone else\u2019s decisions and waiting for your financial advisor\u2019s call and report.<\/p>\n

If you are here, something in you already knows that it is possible. We will help those who are curious, those who feel that call, and those ready to explore what trading could offer.<\/p>\n

The aim of this thread is to introduce you to trading and help everyone \u2013 the beginner, the struggling trader, or the profitable trader willing to help others rise.<\/p>\n

I will share my own story and my choice not to bend behind a huge corrupted institution \u2013 UBS Bank \u2013 and a 17-year-long battle. Fictitious trading and how it steals prosperity from our children will be another topic.<\/p>\n

Blinks of Historical Truth<\/p>\n

We, as women \u2013 holders of peace, harmony, and balance \u2013 are now given an unprecedented opportunity to be completely free. In the eyes of human history, our new liberty is only a blink.<\/p>\n

Remember that Amantine Lucile Aurore Dupin (1804-1876) became a writer and created George Sand \u2013 driven by necessity to escape an unhappy marriage and support her two children through her writing in Paris. At that time, women even needed a \u201ctransvestite pass\u201d from the police to wear trousers.<\/p>\n

Helena Blavatsky (1831-1891) had to marry at just 17, since during the 1840s, an unmarried upper-class Russian woman was legally subject to her father\u2019s or family\u2019s authority, making independent travel or living alone nearly impossible. Once married, she immediately for her travels and ultimately became one of the most influential spiritual thinkers of her time.<\/p>\n

Women received voting rights only recently \u2013 US in 1920, UK in 1928, France in 1944, Switzerland in 1971, Saudi Arabia in 2015.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.\u201d \u2013 Albert Camus<\/p>\n

And as we can only smile now, perhaps can\u2019t even imagine how those events were part of the truly chained life of every woman, so one day will come when we as women and humans will wonder about the old times when money represented a barrier. Since we are now offered a step towards independence \u2013 the unlimited, unseen, unthinkable freedom available to all. From your own space, your laptop, quiet concentration, study, focus\u2014and the results will follow.<\/p>\n

Why Trading Fits Women<\/p>\n

While politics and power may corrupt the feminine nature, trading works differently. The market has rules \u2013 success comes when one follows them. Men\u2019s egos crash here; for women, it is more natural to follow. But only few women trade, as it demands extreme strength, concentration, devotion, and determination. This challenge is often painful \u2013 like a Phoenix, one has to burn the old self and rise as the best version, without all human flaws \u2013 greed, fear, impatience, procrastination.<\/p>\n

The Trading Revolution<\/p>\n

The old Wall Street with its masculine dominance was transformed by the CME <\/a>expansion. Behind it stands Leo Melamed (born 1932) \u2013 a Holocaust survivor, an American lawyer, Chairman Emeritus at CME Group. He made trading accessible to everyone by removing the main barriers: the expensive investment required to buy a chair on the exchange, and the necessity of being physically present on the trading floor. Through launching Globex, open from 6pm ECT Sunday to 5pm Friday, everything became electronic and the main volumes are now traded remotely. His book \u201cEscape to the Futures\u201d will tell you the real history, the grandeur and brave spirit with which this milestone was made. Technical Analysis<\/p>\n

In parallel with Melamed\u2019s financial revolution, the world saw the advancement of technical analysis \u2013 an X-ray of market behavior. Once properly studied, it allows you to create your own strategy, your unique plan for mastering performance. My journey started with \u201cHow to Make Money in Stocks\u201d by William O\u2019Neil, followed by \u201cJapanese Candlestick Charting Techniques\u201d by Steve Nison. The more serious books you read, the stronger your foundation becomes. There are also good courses, most of which are free, and we will expand those sources here too.<\/p>\n

Trading is a journey \u2013 a lifelong marathon. You can start at any age and continue until your last day. It is an excellent gym for your brain, memory, and concentration. Money is a byproduct that follows once you master it.<\/p>\n
